Pay FAQ
If you have a Pay account, the funds will automatically appear in your Pay balance. If you are an existing OKX user without a Pay account, you'll need to follow the Pay onboarding process to activate Pay. Then, the funds will automatically appear in your Pay balance. If you're a non-OKX user, you'll need to create a OKX account and a Pay account. Only then, the funds will automatically appear in your Pay balance. If you converted non-Pay assets to Pay assets, you'll notice a decrease in your Convertible category and an increase in your Pay ready category. The changes will be reflected in a couple of minutes, ensuring your balances are updated in real-time. What system versions are supported by Pay Passkey? Recommended: iOS 16+ and Android 9+. Android devices must be able to log into Google services.2. How do Pay Passkeys differ from exchange Passkeys? They're two completely independent Passkey systems. You may have an exchange Passkey for exchange logging in and trading, but a separate Pay Passkey must be created for their Pay account. Pay requires passkeys to ensure fast and secure onboarding.Why can’t I continue with Pay signup? If your device’s built-in password manager isn’t installed or activated, the passkey prompt cannot appear—blocking the signup process. This is most common on iPhones without the Passwords app installed or Android devices where Google Password Manager is disabled. Go to Google Password Manager Find the passkey(s) for OKX Pay with the prefix "OKX Pay (Date)" and delete it. Find the passkey(s) Delete the passkey(s) Once deleted, return to the OKX Pay app. You will be prompted to create a new Pay passkey. After creating the new Pay Passkey, reach out to Customer Support and request a Pay Passkey reset for your account.
